Cost effective grid connections for UK Ports

Vattenfall IDNO will be running a 'best practice session' and speaking to port owners and operators at the Ports and Freeports Development Conference at Kensington Town Hall, London on Wednesday, 26th April 2023.

If you are interested in learning more about how IDNOs can help ports on the path to Net Zero please join us. The event is a hybrid online and in person conference so interested parties can attend physically or virtually.

Suzanna Lashford will be speaking at 11am in a session entitled: Cost effective grid connections - Electrification and the path to Net Zero for UK Ports:

IDNOs offer ports an alternative route to connect to the grid in order to secure the electrical power to transition to net zero. In this best practice session, Suzanna Lashford will outline the process and benefits of working with an IDNO including Asset Adoption Value (AAV) payments, which help reduce the total capital cost of new and upgraded grid connections.
